The TPT-MR-04/08 series SFF 300 pin tunable transponder product family includes zero chirp and negative chirp modulation. Both are fully compliant with 300 pin Multi Source Agreement (MSA) as well as related SONET/SDH, Ethernet and Fiber Channel standards. The product family has two types of packages, the regular SFF size (2"x3"x0.53") and ultra-thin size (2"x3"x0.45"). The TPT-MR-04/08 series SFF 300 pin tunable transponder is a feature rich product which includes the built-in channel ID, built-in SBS suppression, EDC (Electrical Dispersion Compensation) and flexible Tx/Rx rate selection functions. It provides a wide tuning range capability up to 100 channels with 50GHz channel spacing. The tunable transponder has typical power consumption of 6W.
